What is the MyCare patient portal?

The MyCare patient portal online tool gives you the flexibility to access your health information and other resources on your time and between visits. The portal is available over the internet, which means that you can use it from virtually anywhere.

Can I access the patient portal on my Smartphone?

St. Margaret’s is happy to announce that all patients can now access the Patient Portal through a brand new smartphone app called MHealth! MHealth is the mobile version of MEDITECH’s Patient and Consumer Health Portal for your mobile device or tablet.

How do I connect a third-party app to MyCare portal?

If you would like to connect a third-party app with our MyCare Portal, you will need the app to be evaluated by our IT Department to make sure it meets both the technical and security requirements for connecting. This can be done by emailing the MyCare Portal support team at mycare@maryrutan.org.

MHealth is the mobile version of MEDITECH’s Patient and Consumer Health Portal for your mobile device or tablet. If you already have a Patient Portal account through St. Margaret’s, then you are ready to begin.

Can you access your family's information?

You can also use it to access information for family members and individuals for whom you provide care if given permission. Rest assured, it is completely secure, so you can be confident that your private information is protected . Only you – or an authorized family member – can access your information.

Can I give my family access to my MyCare portal?

Yes, you can give family members over the age of 18, such as spouses or healthcare proxies, access to your portal. This needs to be done within our healthcare facility and requires consent from you and your family member (s). An email address may only be used once for the MyCare portal.

Can I use my email for my care portal?

An email address may only be used once for the MyCare portal. Download the MyCare Proxy Access form. When filling out the MyCare Proxy Access form, the patient is the person who already has a portal account and the proxy is the person to be added to the patient's existing account. Is my information safe? Yes.
