Our Founder, CEO, and Medical Provider Team Leader, Paula Kruppstadt MD DABP FAAP IFMCP, graduated in 1990 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (now named UT Health San Antonio). She completed her pediatric internship and residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso in 1993. She promptly earned her Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1993, and she is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Cristina Mims FNP-BC is a born-and-raised Houstonian who graduated with a BSN degree in 2012 from the University of Virginia School of Nursing. Returning to Houston, Cristina worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Memorial Hermann and earned her MSN degree in 2014 from the University of Texas Health Science Center, becoming a family nurse practitioner (FNP). She has practiced as an FNP since 2015, primarily seeing pediatric patients in the urgent care, allergy, and ENT settings. She earned an Emergency/Trauma Post-Masters Certificate in 2015.
Empowered by her own experiences, she finds joy and fulfillment in assisting people achieve a healthier and better version of themselves. She’s a strong believer in uniting the threefold nature of the body — physical, spiritual, and mental health.
She is a twice certified Lifestyle Educator with Metagenics, coaching adults through lifestyle interventions to help with weight loss, improving Diabetes type I and II, pre-diabetes and hyperlipidemia.
