Dr. Kim McMorries who still runs an obstetrics, gynecology and infertility clinic in Nacogdoches, is under investigation by the Texas Medical Board for possible “unprofessional and unethical conduct.”
Dr. Mcmorries graduated from the Texas A&M Medical,University of Texas Medical Branch At Galveston in 1977. He works in Nacogdoches, TX and 1 other location and specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
In a series of emails, McMorries explained that he first became a sperm donor as a medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in the 1970s and admitted adding his own sperm to the samples patients selected from California.
McMorries personally administered artificial insemination and Pauline’s daughter, Jessica, was born in March 1987. Jessica Stavena, now a young mother of three, lives in the Houston suburbs and runs a medical spa at a Houston plastic surgery practice.
Most of the eight offspring – four boys and four girls – have asked to remain anonymous. But two of the half-sisters – both born in 1987 and only recently discovering that Dr. McMorries was their father – agreed to speak with WFAA.
To stop the board from penalizing him and potentially revoking his license, McMorries has filed suit for a temporary injunction, claiming the statute of limitation has passed.
