He graduated from the University of Patras School of Medicine, after which he fulfilled his mandatory military service as a flight surgeon in the Hellenic Air Force in Greece. Dr. Dimopoulos completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Rochester and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Miami.
