Dr. Julie Coyle knows the importance of teamwork and collaboration. As one of 10 kids, she was raised in an atmosphere that thrived on this. Additionally, when she was a McDonald’s manager, she quickly learned the value of teamwork and leadership skills. She transferred those skills when she went back to school for medicine.
Having been such an early adopter of robotics and laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Coyle is now sought on a national level to speak, lecture, and train his colleagues in the use of these technological advancements, holding the title of National Trainer and Proctor for Intuitive Surgical, Coloplast Urology, and Medtronic.
In 2008, Dr. Coyle began using the da Vinci Surgical System to perform robotic laparoscopic surgeries and complete the region’s very first da Vinci assisted vaginal reconstruction surgery.
