What are the requirements for telemedicine?

The CDC and American Medical Association are advising we impose the following requirements for patient safety. Our providers are conducting non-emergent and routine appointments via telemedicine appointments. For patients who must be seen in the office for physical examination or emergent matters, the following are required of all patients and any necessary visitors: 1 Patients are to check their temperature at home before leaving for their appointment—if it is over 99.5°F please contact the office to reschedule your appointment. 2 Patients must wear a cloth face covering, regardless of symptoms, at all times while in the medical office building. 3 Patients should notify office before arriving if they have fever or symptoms of COVID-19 to reschedule. 4 Unless absolutely necessary for a patient’s care or transportation, visitors are not allowed in the office building during the patient’s appointment.
