What is bone densitometry?

Bone densitometry is a simple, accurate test offered to all patients that meet the recommended screening guidelines to evaluate overall bone mass. The quick and painless test is used to diagnose osteopenia and osteoporosis.

What is breast ultrasound?

Ultrasound. Breast ultrasound is a scan used to help distinguish if a mass found on a mammogram is a solid tissue mass or a fluid filled cyst. Ultrasound is used only when needed to assist in making this determination. A breast ultrasound is not necessary for every patient.
