Why are hold times longer on Mondays?

Does Diagnostic Imaging Associates bill insurance?

Yes, Diagnostic Imaging Associates will submit the bill to your insurance carriers first. We will also include Worker’s Compensation and Automobile insurance. You can log into our Billing Portal to modify or add multiple insurance policies to your account. If you have a secondary insurance company, a claim will be sent to the secondary insurance company after the primary insurance company pays first. You are then required to supply the pertinent billing information that the secondary insurer may require.

Do you have to bill a doctor for an x-ray?

For example, if you came to the emergency room and had an x-ray and laboratory tests, you may receive a bill from the emergency room physician for their professional services, but also, a bill from the radiologist for interpreting any x-rays.

Is a radiologist bill separate from a hospital bill?

Thank you for using our services! You are receiving this bill for the services provided by the radiologist. This charge is separate from the hospital bill.
