Who uses Oph laboratory data?

Public Health. LDH and CDC recommend all children ages 5 and older be vaccinated for COVID-19. To find a vaccination location near you or get your questions answered, we encourage you to speak with your child’s pediatrician, call 211, or call the COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at 1-855-453-0774 to be connected with a medical professional.

COVID-19 Testing

LDH now recommends everyone, regardless of vaccination status, get tested if they believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19. COVID-19 testing sites can be found in towns, cities and communities throughout Louisiana. You can get tested at doctor’s offices, clinics, pharmacies, parish health units and many other locations.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Vaccines currently being administered are from Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. Pfizer and Moderna are two-dose vaccines while Johnson & Johnson is one dose. All three vaccines have been authorized for emergency use by the FDA and are safe and effective.
