Is patient portal an app?

The PatientPORTAL App connects you, the patient, with your healthcare provider. The App enables you to view upcoming appointments and lab results, as well as send and receive secure messages for yourself and any dependents that you may have for easy communication with your provider.

DeKalb Medical officially became a part of the Emory Healthcare system on September 1, 2018.

What is name of Emory patient portal?

BLUE Portal Most of our patients will use this portal. Access this portal if you see an outpatient provider within the Emory Clinic or have been hospitalized at an Emory hospital. You can view a list of participating offices below to see if your provider uses the BLUE portal.

How do you use patient portals?

If your provider offers a patient portal, you will need a computer and internet connection to use it. Follow the instructions to register for an account. Once you are in your patient portal, you can click the links to perform basic tasks. You can also communicate with your provider's office in the message center.

How common are patient portals?

Nearly 40 percent of individuals nationwide accessed a patient portal in 2020 – this represents a 13 percentage point increase since 2014. The proportion of individuals who were offered and accessed a patient portal did not increase between 2019 and 2020.

Does Emory have an app?

The Emory Mobile App Catalog has been in production since October 2014, but with a limited license for use by 1,000 users doing mobile app development, testing and focus groups. Now it is licensed for all Emory University and Emory Healthcare staff, faculty and students.

Does Emory have Mychart?

MYCHART IS PROVIDED BY EMORY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

Does Emory use Epic?

October 1, 2022, Emory Healthcare will go live with Epic as its electronic medical record. With this transition, a new web portal called Emory Healthcare Link will also be available for external health care entities (e.g., referring providers).
