Dr. Blenner is an excellent doctor. The office policies are ridiculous and set up to maximize insurance payment and subsequently your copays/coinsurance are high. For example, my well visit and presurgical clearance appointment were occurring at the same time of the year and could have been done at the same time.
Caring doctor takes time with patients. I am patient and told my wife who also became a patient.
I just just moved here from Nassau and found Dr.Blenner in a Facebook group. She’s very thorough and nice. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful. Very happy here and will send my family too!
Dr. Blenner is absolutely HORRIBLE!! I went as a new patient & she didn't want to hear any issues I had... just a physical. She told me that I would need another appointment to tell her any issues. She only cares about the money. I waited 2 months for my appointment because of all the good reviews...
My husband did a routine exam and Dr. Blenner found a high PSA. She kept calling to see if he had seen a Urologist. After the 3rd call, he finally went and found out he had low grade Prostate Cancer. When it was time for a follow up appointment, she called him (personally) again. She has called me when I had an irregular mammogram, as well.
I agree with all of the previous raves about Dr. Blenner and her office. I searched for years to replace my previous doctor and have always been disappointed until I met Dr. Blenner. You are not hurried; your concerns are taken seriously and she is excellent at explaining medical concepts in layman terms.
