Making an Appointment

To make an appointment, you can either call us at the number listed above or fill out the form on our Request an Appointment page. Emergencies are seen during regular business hours, and our staff monitors our call center and regularly returns messages during non-business hours.

Payment & Insurance Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards as well as cash and Flexible Spending Accounts. We also offer low-interest financing through CareCredit. We accept many major insurance plans, including BCBS, Eyemed, Healthspring, Medicare, Secure Horizons, Southland UHC, Viva Health, Viva Medicare Plus, VCP and VSP.

Eye Exams

Dr. Day and the Day Eye Care team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Gardendale patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans.
