CSI’s fellowship-trained, board-certified sleep physicians and physician assistants have the highest level of training available to evaluate, diagnose, and treat all 60 internationally classified sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorders.
Insomnia affects more than 70 million Americans, but experienced professionals capable of treating insomnia without sleeping medications are sparse. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is not the same old “do’s and don’ts” of good sleep hygiene.
The clinical use of oral appliances (OAs) for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) has markedly increased along with scientific research showing its effectiveness. Unfortunately, most dentists providing this therapy are not properly trained in sleep medicine nor are they associated with a comprehensive sleep center. Our dental sleep medicine facility is the only AADSM-accredited (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine) oral appliance program in the state of Colorado. We are fortunate to have on our team, Dr. Lindsey Deol, Boulder County’s only Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Unlike equipment suppliers which do not provide medical oversight of sleep apnea, CSI manages a full-time CPAP Clinic staffed with experienced, registered sleep technologists who personally meet with you to address any problems you may have with CPAP therapy.
To eliminate the disconnect between physician and dentist, CSI has incorporated the oral appliance clinic on site within our comprehensive sleep center, where dentist and sleep physician can work seamlessly as a team. During the dental clinic appointments you will receive:
