Dr. Todd Cumbie was born and raised on the Texas Gulf Coast where he completed high school before attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude from Baylor. He then returned to the Houston Area to attend Baylor College of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree. After medical school, Dr. Todd Cumbie completed his general surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital. He then did a two year peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Todd Cumbie is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He also holds a certification for vascular ultrasound interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
