Is Coastal Pediatrics an in and out practice?

Regular office visits are always by appointment. We are not an "in and out" type of practice as each child is different with different needs. The providers at Coastal Pediatrics take the time to answer each and every question from brand new parents to the "experienced" parent. These questions and answers can cause a delay in the schedule as each child gets the undivided attention they deserve. Please follow these recommended guidelines when scheduling an appointment.

Does Coastal Pediatrics require referrals?

Some insurance plans require a referral from a primary care provider for specialty services, diagnostic services, rehabilitation services, etc.. You will be required to research which specialty provider us within your plan. All plans are different and Coastal Pediatrics is not responsible for knowing each plan. Please ask for referrals in a timely fashion as certain insurances will not back date them.
