How long does it take to get results from CityMD?

Expect to receive your results within approximately 15 minutes. Your results will be provided via email and come from noreply@citymd.net email address. If you do not receive an email in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam or junk folder.

How long does it take to get PCR results from Summit Health?

Due to increased demand, the average turnaround time for PCR (Nasal Swab) lab results is currently 3-5 days, but can take longer depending on lab partner and other factors. Your results can be viewed via your My Summit Health app account. Click hereto learn more and download the My Summit Health app. Please note –When you create your account, you'll need to establish a new login and password, instead of using your existing Summit Health or CityMD patient portal login credentials you may already have.

Does insurance cover CityMD?

Prior to visiting CityMD for asymptomatic COVID-19 testing for clearance, travel or work, we recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of your visit to confirm they will cover the cost of your CityMD visit and testing. CityMD will submit a bill to your insurance company but some insurance plans may deny COVID-19 related claims as guidelines under the CARES Act are updated. For patients without insurance, we will continue to submit the claim to the Government sponsored agency. Please note, evaluation by a provider is required for all patients requesting a COVID-19 test.

Lab results are delivered to your patient portal account. Log in or register online. Please wait at least seven to ten days after your visit to view your lab results online .

How do I access the lab test results of other family members?

If you have been authorized to view the lab test results of other family members, you will need to register each team member individually for the portal linked to a unique email address.

Can I communicate with CityMD through the Portal?

Currently you are unable to communicate with CityMD staff through our portal, for any additional questions please call our Aftercare Department.
