Yes. Staff members can be granted access with permission from the Practice Owner in your office once they have created a myCHLA account. Practice Owners can enroll their staff under the “My Practice” tab. Staff members can also “Create an Account” and enter the unique practice ID number from the website’s home page.
Yes, all of your referrals, whether faxed, called in, or entered in the portal will automatically flow into the “My Referrals” list after they are entered into our system. Note: If you are faxing notes to be added to an open referral that was submitted via the portal, please indicate this on the fax cover sheet.

Parents will no longer have access to their child’s information once the patient turns 18. The patient cannot grant access to a parent to restore access. My child with special needs is over the age of 18.
Clinical notes are available as soon as your provider completes them. Lab results — including tests done in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings — will display as soon as they are resulted. Diagnostic test reports are available as soon as they are resulted.
Can I set up a MyChildren’s account? Yes, as long as you have guardianship papers on file with Boston Children’s , you can access your child’s information with your MyChildren’s account. If you have the guardianship papers, you can email the PDF documents to mychildrenssupport@childrens.harvard.edu.
Consider using a numbing cream, called LMX-4, to make the procedure easier for your child. Talk to your care team about applying LMX-4. Nurses may apply LMX-4 numbing cream during your clinic visit, before you go to the lab, or before a needle procedure in the clinic.

Users who inhale the foam particles may experience cough, headache, nausea, or shortness of breath. Patients should contact their DME supplier to request a replacement device.
