is board certified in pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Ahmed received her M.B.B.S medical degree from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh, and her M.D. from UTMB in Galveston Texas; where she also completed her residency and training in pediatrics.

Who is Shannon Cannon?

Shannon Cannon, CPNP is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Shannon is a member of the National Association for Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners.#N#Shannon received both an M.S. and a B.S in nursing with a minor in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shannon welcomes Spanish speaking patients! Shannon joined Commonwealth Pediatrics with four years of pediatric nursing experience from VCU Health System as well as 7 years of nurse practitioner experience from another office in Richmond.
