How long does it take to see a baby at UPMC?

If you are delivering at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital or The Western Pennsylvania Hospital tell the staff that you have chosen UPMC CCP – HealthQuest as your pediatric provider, and we will see your baby within the first 24 hours. If you are delivering at another hospital, we will see your baby at the office as soon as necessary after discharge, usually within two to three days. Call our office before you leave the hospital to schedule an appointment.
