Where is the Chesapeake health care obstetrics department located?

The Chesapeake Health Care Obstetrics/Gynecology department is located in both Princess Anne and Salisbury, and is accredited by the Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Council of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

Can I visit my pregnancy appointment at Chesapeake women's care?

Chesapeake Women's Care will allow ONE visitor for your verification of pregnancy appointment or if you are the parent of a minor. We are NOT allowing visitors for routine obstetrical or gynecological appointments at this time. Please call if you have specific concerns. This is a challenging time for everyone.

What is Upper Chesapeake Women's Care?

Upper Chesapeake Women's Care provides care to women with pre-malignant conditions and complex gynecologic problems. If the need arises, the Kaufman Cancer Center at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center features a highly specialized gynecologic oncologist specifically trained to treat gynecological cancers. Through collaboration with a team of specialists, they will develop an individualized care plan just for you. What is prenatal care in Upper Chesapeake?

Having a baby is one of life's most exciting experiences. At Upper Chesapeake Women's Care, we want your experience to be as happy and healthy as possible. Both before and during your pregnancy, our team will provide you with the information, care and support you need to keep both you and your baby healthy. Pre-natal care includes everything from fertility testing/treatment, blood tests, physical exams, ultrasounds, and discussions about lifestyle. During your office visits, we will review your personal care, healthy choices and exercises you can do during pregnancy, as well as begin to develop your individualized pre-natal health and birth plan. To help familiarize you with our care team and ensure your comfort, you will see all of the providers in our practice on a rotating basis. Our care team will address any questions or concerns at each pre-natal visit.
