Inpatient Rehab Program

St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Michigan Medicine now offer expanded inpatient rehabilitation at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea.

Chelsea Heart Failure Program

Michigan Medicine has also developed a program to provide heart failure patients with all the resources they need for success and to minimize the chance for readmission.

How much notice do you need to cancel an appointment?

If you should need to cancel your appointment, kindly provide at least 24 hours notice. Please note, in some cases our physicians may not have another open appointment for several weeks. Appointments canceled with 24 hour or greater notice will receive priority in rescheduling.

Is cosmetic surgery covered by insurance?

Please note, cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance plans. Be prepared to pay for these procedures at the time of your appointment. For billing inquiries, please contact us at 734-475-3221, during office hours. Our billing specialist is available to address your concerns Monday through Thursday.

What is a care manager?

Located in your primary care practice, the care manager works in collaboration with your primary care physician and medical team to improve your overall health. The care manager works with you to assess and proactively manage your health , helping you to identify areas that you would like to improve or better manage.

What is family medicine?

Family medicine is comprehensive health care for your entire family - from newborns to your most senior members. All our physicians are board certified or board-eligible in family medicine.
