What features are no longer available through CentraState patient portal?

Features in your CentraState portal account, including Appointment Requests, Medication Refills, Communications, and Statements, will no longer be accessible through your practice’s patient portal. We encourage patients who would like records of past communications with their physicians to download them prior to June 22.

CentraState Medical Center patients have access to our free and secure online patient tools allow you to easily track your medical history, handle routine health management, and communicate with your physicians. Get access to medical records by filling out the request form online.

Does CentraState Medical Center offer valet parking?

CentraState Medical Center offers free valet parking for patients and visitors. Valet parking attendants are stationed near the admitting entrance at the front of the hospital and at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus side entrance. The service is offered weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The patient and family advisory council is a group consisting of patients and community members who work together with CentraState’s nurse management, administration, volunteers and support department staff to discuss a variety of hospital and patient/family centered care initiatives. 732-294-2707 from outside the hospital OR Ext. 2707 from an in-house phone. CentraState’s care coordinators are certified nurses who support patients, their families, and other caregivers by coordinating and monitoring care from pre-admission to post-discharge from the hospital.

What is social work?

Social workers are specially-trained professionals who help patients and their families meet the social, economical, emotional, and environmental needs they often face. At CentraState, our social workers meet privately with patients and families to discuss their needs. 732-294-2835.
