Miranda E. Smith, MD. Dr. Smith was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. She attended the University of Tulsa where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology (2002). She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where she was elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society (2006).

All of our physicians are Board Certified Dermatologists, specializing in the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. These include medical treatments for psoriasis, eczema, and acne.
Our physicians have been trained in surgery of the skin, including: Excision of skin cancers, surgery of the toenails and fingernails, biopsy of suspicious lesions and rashes...and more.
Dr. Smith’s impressive background includes graduating summa cum laude from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor’s degree in history.
After completing her dermatology residency, Dr. Smith served as an assistant and associate professor of dermatology at Texas Tech University. Not only did she teach medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology techniques for 10 years, she also continued seeing patients during this time.
In 2004, Dr. Smith became a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. As a Mohs specialist, Dr. Smith has performed thousands of these procedures, which have been clinically shown to have a success rate ranging between 95 and 100%.
Dr. Smith served as chief resident during her dermatology residency at Texas Tech, where she also later earned patient satisfaction awards in both 2009 and 2011. The dermatology department honored her with the “Unsung Hero” Award in 2009.
