What to Expect

Your visit with us should be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. It is very important that you feel our commitment to patient care from the moment you walk through our doors until completion of your exam. Our centers are designed with ease-of-access in mind.

Getting Started

A friendly front-office staff member will check you in and answer any questions about your visit. After you have checked in, you may relax in our reception area and enjoy a complimentary beverage. A member of our team will escort you to your procedure and stay with you throughout.

Your Imaging Procedure

Our imaging suites are large rooms with lots of natural lighting or customized light panels. The technologist performs the scan from the adjoining room, monitoring the entire process through a large window. He/she will be in constant contact with you, letting you know what to expect and how long it will take.

When You Are Done

Once your testing is complete, you will be free to leave. The technologist or assistant will escort you to the dressing room or lobby. The technologist will then transfer your images to one of our DCA physicians, a radiologist experienced in subspecialty procedures on the specific area you had examined.
