What can I do with the patient portal service?

Department Specific Policy

Emergency Department: One visitor is allowed, including in the waiting room.#N#Med Surg & ICU: One visitor is allowed.#N#Labor and Delivery: One healthy partner/support person is allowed to stay throughout their admission and care. This person does NOT need to be 18 years of age or older, IF they are the parent of the baby.

General Rules

The visitor must be the same person throughout the entire stay of the patient.#N#Visitor must be at least 18 years of age, with the exception of the scenario noted above.#N#Visitor must remain in the patient's room at all times.#N#Visitors are not allowed for patients receiving ancillary services.
