Poor decisions made after sold to Sonic

After Sonic Healthcare bought them, the company went downhill quickly with many lay offs and poor business decisions made that cost the company to loose many clients.

competetive, fast paste and very busy

cbl path was a very busy place from the time you walk in until the time you leave you will be working every department have a job to do and it must get done efficiently and in a timely matter.

Small town, small minds

This was a very unique job situation. It was a warehouse of biopsy kits and other medical supplies. I had one boss but the boss had favorites who could do no wrong and virtually did whatever they pleased during work hours. There was an arbitrary pecking order which I and new employees had to fall in line.

Good place to work

Had to leave because they closed down, they are no longer open. They were a great company to work for. They cared about their eomployees. We were like family.

Managers are incompetent

This place is like high school everyone gossips including the supervisors. Both supervisors for the block room are 100% incompetent and have no idea how the department works. They allow employees to bully other employees and do absolutely nothing about it.

Not recommended

I would not recommend a position in the Cytology lab. The manager is not knowledgeable enough to troubleshoot properly to allow for improved specimen yield. Connection to upper level management is constantly flaunted as a way to ensure that her techs were kept in line. There was also too much work for the available staff.
