He worked in Medical Product Sales for six years then moved to North Carolina where he received his Physician Assistant Degree from Wake Forest University Medical School. He then moved to Hickory, NC in 1995 and worked in Cardiothoracic Surgery for almost 10 years at Frye Regional Medical Center.
