The CareMount Medical Patient Portal is a fast, safe and secure way to manage your healthcare needs online 24 hours a day. With our patient portal you can: Communicate securely with your provider and healthcare team. Request prescription renewals. Manage your child/children’s (up to age 11) medical records.

How do I get my patient records from caremount?

Patient Portal Help Line: (914) 242-1555 You will receive a message “Your request has been successfully submitted”. The system will process your request. You usually get it within the hour to your CareMount Portal Inbox, but it may take up to 24 hours for your records to download.

What information can I find in the hospital patient portal?

This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. How are messages sent to your provider's office transferred?

All messages sent to your provider’s office are transferred via a secure server compliant with HIPAA standards.

Is RWJBarnabas Health a centralized portal?

RWJBarnabas Health is in the process transitioning all of our hospitals to a centralized patient portal called MyChart where all hospitals’ records will eventually be contained within one system for your convenience. Please be assured that you will always have access to your medical records.

Can you access read only medical records?

At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records. Due to the sensitive nature of radiology and pathology test results, these are not available on the patient portal and must be obtained through the hospital’s Health Information Department.

You can even manage your child’s health information or request proxy access for other family members (such as elderly parents) with permission. MyChart is completely free and easy to use.
