Like common social media apps, the new MyChart design will utilize a “feed” to show patients the latest and most important alerts and information about the patient’s care, such as new messages from the patient’s care team, and reminders for upcoming appointments. When a user has access to multiple patient accounts, such as a parent who has access to their children’s information, the information will all appear in the same feed, color-coded by person, making it easy for the user to stay on top of everyone’s care.
