What happened to the GW Medical Faculty Associates?

We are thrilled to share that on November 1, 2021, the GW Medical Faculty Associates (GW MFA) transitioned to a new, upgraded patient portal, called MyChart. There are a lot of great benefits associated with MyChart, which gives you a secure and convenient way to manage your personal health information at home or on the go.

Can I send messages to GW MFA providers using FollowMyHealth?

You will not be able to send messages, refill prescriptions, or request appointments for GW MFA providers using FollowMyHealth. However, you will still have access to review previous messages, appointments, prescriptions, and other information in the FollowMyHealth portal.

What public health measures does GW have in place?

To ensure the safety and well-being of our community, GW has implemented specific public health measures for students, faculty, staff and visitors to follow. All GW community members are required to be vaccinated or have an approved exemption, participate in regular testing and wear a mask indoors.
