The Mother/Baby department cares for new mothers and their babies along with high-risk ante partum patients and is located behind a set of locked doors on the second floor. A family-centered approach is used to facilitate teaching/learning for parents, siblings and primary care givers. A security guard is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assure that all babies are safe. The gynecology (Gyn) unit is located on the third floor of Women and Children's Hospital and cares for the majority of the post-surgical adult patients in this hospital. Nursing care is provided by an experienced and friendly staff. This is a quiet unit with private and semi-private rooms.

The Patient Registration representatives at each location are responsible for interviewing the incoming patient or patient representative, gathering data and recording the information required for outpatient registration or inpatient admission, and placing the patient to the appropriate department. We obtain complete and accurate demographic and insurance information for each patient.
Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. All inpatient and outpatient registrations. Registration express windows are located outside of the Admitting Registration office. These windows service patients who have pre-registered prior to their services.
