Our three programs (Categorical, Primary Care (GIM), and Preliminary), are based at Rhode Island Hospital with additional core rotations at The Miriam Hospital and the Providence VA Medical Center. What is DGIM clinical?

Clinical Care. DGIM clinical activities include several academic clinical practices in Primary Care, as well as a longstanding Women’s Health practice. Our faculty teach and supervise residents and interns on the geographically-oriented inpatient general medicine wards at RIH. Finally, DGIM faculty are responsible for leadership, education and precepting in resident continuity clinics as well.
