What time does Mass General Brigham Virtual Urgent Care open?

Launch a video visit with an urgent care provider at Mass General Brigham Virtual Urgent Care. Available 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week, Virtual Urgent Care is suggested for those who have symptoms of COVID-19 and/or have underlying conditions that may put them at greater risk. A doctor or advanced practitioner will conduct an intake assessment via a secure video visit and recommend next steps. Note that this service is only available to established Mass General Brigham patients in Massachusetts.

What is the Brigham and Women's Access Center?

The Brigham Health Access Center provides efficient patient transfers to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. The Center is staffed 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week by a knowledgeable and caring staff that will facilitate a seamless patient transfer. Through one phone call, coordination of the transfer will be efficient, timely, and safe.

How to transfer patients from the emergency room?

To transfer a patient from the emergency room, please call the direct line to the Access Center at 617-732-8903, which is staffed 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. For transfers originating in the inpatient setting, please call 877-637-3337, press 2 to reach the Brigham Health Access Center.

How often do you get paid in BWH?

Your offer letter indicated how often you will be paid. Most employees are paid weekly on Thursday for hours worked in the previous week. BWH has a “paperless” payment system, by which employees receive their pay electronically, with exceptions granted as needed. To set up your direct deposit, so that your pay goes directly to the bank or investment account you specify, please go to PeopleSoft, BWH’s self-service human resources information system. You can also contact the PHS Central Payroll department for help at 617-724-9113.
