What is Bode scheduling?

Bode offers an online scheduling platform to allow members to schedule their own appointments while maintaining control of available testing days. This allows the administration to control daily sample numbers and arranging the testing of individuals within the recommended time frame following exposure. It also allows the administrative to make and cancel appointments as needed. Daily collections schedules are provided to the administration as well as the collection staff.

How long is Bode support?

Bode can provide 7-day customer support to the university during this effort. Bode’s support team can address questions or concerns from individual patients or university administrators. Remote technical support has been available and responsive 7-days per week.

Is Bode testing pooled?

Bode will have pooled testing available online in early January. The implementation of pooled testing significantly increases the capacity of testing, while reducing costs. By using this approach, pools of four (4) individual samples will be tested together. In the event that the result in a pool is positive, the client and individuals will be notified of suspected positive samples within the quoted turnaround time, and the individual samples will be re-run to determine which individual (s) is positive. Those individual samples would then be confirmed within the next 24 hours.

Does Bode provide cold packs?

Bode will provide cold packs, boxes and FedEx labels for overnight shipping to the laboratory or a courier service. Transportation supplies and costs are included in the price for testing.

What is a Bode Cares test?

Bode-CARES TM COVID-19 testing is a molecular diagnostic test using real-time reverse transcription (RT) – PCR for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The test will indicate whether SARS-CoV-2 virus is detected in a specimen, is not detected, or is inconclusive for detection. Bode processes more than 150,000 samples annually using the RT-PCR method.

What is required for a collection site?

This will be determined based on the scope of the collection. Bode will coordinate with our clients to evaluate options and identify the ideal set-up for collection. This includes physical space, number of medical professionals, and set-up of the collection site.

Yes, Bode can coordinate collections for our clients that operate in multiple shifts.

Can Bode coordinate scheduling of collections in time blocks?

Yes, Bode uses a HIPAA compliant scheduler to set blocks of times for collections to stagger the flow of patients. The scheduling and available slots is based off of the scope of the collection effort.

Can Bode offer a program with regular testing or collections over multiple days?

Yes, Bode’s program can include testing on a schedule as needed/ determined by our clients. Bode’s program can adapt to the current (and likely changing) needs of our clients.

The TOL Patient Portal (also referred to as "TRICARE Online" or "TOL") is the current secure patient portal that gives registered users access to online health care information and services at military hospitals and clinics.

MHS GENESIS Patient Portal

MHS GENESIS is the new secure patient portal for TRICARE. It will eventually deploy to all military medical and dental facilities worldwide and replace the TOL Patient Portal.
