We send bills approximately every 28 days until the balance for each account has been paid in full. If we do not receive full payment or payment on an approved payment plan within three (28-day) billing cycles, your account will be referred to an outside collection agency. Please contact Patient Financial Services as soon as possible to discuss your options.

In addition to those services, many of our doctors travel to other facilities to care for patients. You may be at another facility other than UVM Medical Center and receive the services of a UVM Medical Center physician.

Guest Payer Login: use this link if you wish to make a payment on a student account but have not been set up as a Proxy by the student. If you are helping to support the student, please have the student set you up with Proxy access. The student is the only one who can set up an individual as a Proxy. UVM retirees can also use this login to pay their benefit premiums (PDF).

When will MyChart replace inpatient information?

Patients receiving inpatient services, which often involve hospital stays, will continue to use MyHealth as their inpatient portal until November 2021.

When will my health portal stop?

As of November 9, 2019, you should stop using your existing MyHealth patient portal to access information from outpatient practices and clinics. You will still have access to your information in this portal after November 9, 2019, but no new outpatient information will be added. To view new outpatient medical information and test results, see upcoming appointments, and send messages, you should create MyChart accounts at MyChart.UVMHealth.org.
