We send bills approximately every 28 days until the balance for each account has been paid in full. Many doctors in our community send samples to our Laboratory and Pathology Departments for testing and interpretation. If your hometown physician asked for help from a UVM Medical Center physician, you will be billed for the services performed on your behalf. In addition to those services, many of our doctors travel to other facilities to care for patients. You may be at another facility other than UVM Medical Center and receive the services of a UVM Medical Center physician.

Late fee appeals cannot be considered on an unpaid past due account. Late fee appeal decision notifications will be emailed within 10 business days to the addresses provided and the student's UVM email address.
Initial on-time payments which are not paid by your bank (for reasons of insufficient funds, closed accounts, etc.) will be assessed a late payment fee. Initial payments which are post-dated past the due date will be assessed a late payment fee.

Guest Payer Login: use this link if you wish to make a payment on a student account but have not been set up as a Proxy by the student. If you are helping to support the student, please have the student set you up with Proxy access. The student is the only one who can set up an individual as a Proxy. Patients receiving inpatient services, which often involve hospital stays, will continue to use MyHealth as their inpatient portal until November 2021.
As of November 9, 2019, you should stop using your existing MyHealth patient portal to access information from outpatient practices and clinics. You will still have access to your information in this portal after November 9, 2019, but no new outpatient information will be added. To view new outpatient medical information and test results, see upcoming appointments, and send messages, you should create MyChart accounts at MyChart.UVMHealth.org.
As of November 9, 2019, these hospitals' outpatient portals have been replaced by MyChart, a new and improved patient portal powered by Epic. This change is part of a UVM Health Network-wide transition toward a more connected, safe, secure, and convenient online health experience for all patients.
