What is Circle Health urgent care?

Circle Health Urgent Care in Billerica provides care for non life-threatening conditions and other ailments that require prompt medical attention, such as: allergies, serious cuts and scrapes, severe colds, flu, bronchitis or sinus infections, rashes, sprains or possible fractures, stings and bites, minor burns, or conditions needing X-rays or laboratory tests. Other services at this location include Travel Medicine and Occupational Medicine.

What time does X-rays take place?

X-ray hours as follows: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-7:00pm. Saturday-Sunday, 9:30am-7:00pm. NOTE: Patient Service Center hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm. To Get a COVID-19 Test: Patients do not need an appointment for testing and can simply walk-in. Anyone with COVID symptoms can make an appointment online or walk-in.

Dr. Joshi has been providing personalized, quality care to his patients for decades – over a quarter century in private practice. After graduating from Brookline High School, Dr Joshi attended the University of Maryland and attended an accredited medical school in India.

Our History

Dr. Ashok K. Joshi, MD opened his medical clinic in September 1994 to serve the health care needs of Billerica and surrounding communities. This month marks the completion of two decades of continuous service in internal medicine and primary care.

When did Billerica acquire CBC?

In 2004, he decided to expand the Billerica office and consolidate both practices. In 2007, he acquired CBC Medical Center in Lowell to serve the needs of the Cambodian and Spanish-speaking communities.

Where is Dr Joshi?

After graduating from Brookline High School, Dr Joshi attended the University of Maryland and attended an accredited medical school in India. He continued residency training in Washington DC and was Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine. He relocated to Massachusetts in 1984 and practiced Emergency Medicine full-time for 10 years. As a member of the medical staff at Lowell General Hospital, he responded to a growing need for primary care practitioners by opening his internal medicine practice in Billerica in 1994, adding a second clinic in 1999 in Drum Hill, Chelmsford. In 2004, he decided to expand the Billerica office and consolidate both practices. In 2007, he acquired CBC Medical Center in Lowell to serve the needs of the Cambodian and Spanish-speaking communities. In 2014, the CBC Medical and Walk-In Center relocated to a larger, newer, facility – fully equipped and integrated with the Billerica practice.

Who is Prema from ANCC?

Prema is an ANCC board-certified Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who received a Master’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts (UMass)-Lowell in 2013. For several years, she served as clinical visiting faculty at UMass-Lowell teaching undergraduate and graduate students. Prema brings valuable teaching experience as an Indian medical school lecturer. With a Master’s in Human Anatomy, she is a life member of the Anatomical Association of India. The complete wellness of patients is her passion, and she would also like to pursue palliative care. She is interested in telemedicine and sees its benefits in primary care. Keeping elderly population safe in their home environment is her goal. “My patients’ wellness is my success.” Prema also loves to cook, spend time with her family, and serve as a Sunday school teacher and mentor to kids and teens. She speaks English, Tamil, Malayam, and Hindi.

Who is the manager of CBC?

CBC Office Manager Chantrea Yim-Bo (Chan) brings ten years of health care experience. She is actively involved in all aspects of patient care coordination. Focused on customer service, she reminds her staff, “I believe in timely communication.” When she’s not running CBC, Chan enjoys spending time with her family and serving the Cambodian community.

Who is Cynthia Catalano?

When it comes to her commitment to the patients and the practice, “I believe in going the extra mile”. She is the biggest cheerleader at her nephews’ sporting events, loves spending time with her granddaughters, and enjoys hosting summer days at her backyard pool.
