How do I sign up my children for reading Pediatrics?

Please send us your email address, your children’s names (each child needs their own individual PIN) and their dates of birth to: portal@readingpediatrics.net . Patients over the age of 18 years must register themselves due to HIPPA law. Thank you for your patience as we roll out this new feature.

Welcome to Reading Pediatrics With 16 providers and a full staff of licensed nurses and ancillary personnel, Reading Pediatrics is committed to serving your children’s healthcare needs. All of our 12 physicians are board certified and are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

How many family members are allowed to accompany an adult patient in an emergency department?

Adult patients accessing emergency departments or clinics are permitted one family/support person to accompany them.

Is Penn State Health allowing visitors?

Due to the continued presence of COVID-19 in the region, Penn State Health is not allowing visitors who are not family/support persons in any of its facilities. Additional changes have been made to the guidelines for family/support persons.

What is centering parenting?

Centering Parenting® is a model that brings a groups of moms, partners, support people and their same age infants together with their healthcare provider to discuss common experiences. Individual assessments of your child take place at every visit: tracking growth, development, immunizations and oral health.

Can health care providers share information without consent?

This means that health care providers are not allowed to share information about these issues without the teen’s permission. There are some rare exceptions to this including when a teen is a danger to themselves or others, or a crime is suspected to have been committed.

Does BCHC accept Medicaid?
