The department is staffed by pathologists and scientists with expertise in all areas of clinical pathology as well as molecular pathology and genetics. We are accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of the American Pathologists (CAP).

Our facilities at Baystate Medical Center include a large open laboratory with modern instrumentation, supporting state-of-the-art techniques in all of our specialties.
