Embarrassing joke of an "app"

Rather than joining an established medical app network like MyChart, Baycare opted for what I suspect is a far cheaper route of creating an app wrapper around their mobile website. The result is that their app offers a slower,clunkier experience than if you simply opened a browser.

Patient Secure Identity

BayCare offers a new way to register at our facilities using biometric technology. This cutting-edge system scans the unique vein patterns on a person's hand and uses that image to greatly streamline the patient identification process.

Step 2 - Create Account

Open the BayCareAnywhere app and enter your basic information (name, gender, email address, date of birth, etc.). You don’t need to enter insurance or credit card information.

Step 3 - Terms and Conditions

Click “I agree to these Terms of Use,” and then press the green “Continue” button.

Step 4 - Complete Registration

You’ll likely then see a screen for the Immediate Care practice. DON’T click on the “Get Started” button. You’ve completed your BayCareAnywhere registration. No other information is required for your scheduled telemedicine appointment with your BayCare Medical Group doctor.
