If you are actively enrolled in the Syracuse University Student Health Insurance Plan, you do not need to bring your insurance information. While the Barnes Center is providing flu shot appointments throughout October, students may choose to receive their flu shot through other sources, such as a primary care provider or at a pharmacy.

All incoming full-time students and returning international students are required to carry health insurance that is compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and provides coverage for services received in the Syracuse area. You may already be covered by an ACA-compliant insurance plan, and will therefore be able to waive participation in the University-sponsored plan.
Part-time students are eligible to use Barnes Center at The Arch Health Care on a fee-for-service basis. The health and wellness fee does not cover all expenses such as pharmacy, laboratory, and referrals to specialty service providers. Please bring a copy of your insurance card when you visit Barnes Center at The Arch Health Care.
