Barnes-Jewish was created by the 1996 merger of Barnes Hospital and The Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. Each hospital brought a rich tradition of medical excellence to form the largest hospital in Missouri, an academic medical center affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine.

There are multiple parking garages to serve patients and visitors at Barnes-Jewish Hospital on the Washington University Medical Campus. Because of the size of the hospital, you will want to park in the garage nearest the area you will be visiting or receiving care.

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is known for outstanding patient care and offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment. In 2019, a replacement hospital opened on the campus that offers all private rooms in a new place of healing.
