What is AHSFHC in Chicago?

Asian Human Services Family Health Center (AHSFHC) was incorporated in 2001 as an independent not for profit 501 (c) 3 to increase access to primary care for underserved communities on Chicago’s north side. In collaboration with Asian Human Services a large Asian based social services organization, in February of 2002, AHSFHC began operating a small two-room clinic to provide Ob/Gyn and family practice-based care to immigrant and refugee families. AHSFHC grew from those humble beginnings and opened its doors as a full-time Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on March 1, 2004 in the West Ridge neighborhood.
