In accordance with federal legislation, Baptist Health is updating our electronic health record to allow you to see all notes and results, systematically feasible, upon completion in Baptist Health MyChart. This change is important to your participation in your care at any Baptist Health facility.

View your child’s medical records 1 Parents and legal guardians can request access to their child’s (newborn –11 years old) medical information. 2 Adolescents 12-17 years may have their own portal account. 3 Request access to the portal from your Baptist pediatric provider or visit any Baptist Health hospital registration desk. 4 You will be asked to show photo identification as the child’s parent or legal guardian and sign an authorization form. Minor Eligibility - An individual must be age 18 or older to request a personal account. Parents or guardians of minor children may request access to the minor child's account by following the terms outlined in the "Proxy Access" section of this Terms and Conditions statement. Minor children between the ages of 12 and 17 (inclusive) will not be eligible to participate in the full spectrum of MyChart services. Under State and Federal law, there are certain types of medical information that the parent or guardian of a minor patient age 12 or older may not view without consent of the minor patient. Because of these requirements, we cannot offer the full spectrum of services to parents of minor patients in this age category. Thus, when a minor patient reaches age 12, restrictions will be placed on MyChart access until he/she reaches age 18.
For other than general information viewing, MyChart must be accessed with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) compatible browser or terminal. Our SSL web server uses authentication and offers the highest level of encryption technology commercially available (128-bit RC4).
As a MyChart user, your role in maintaining the security of your medical information is: 1) Changing your password on a regular basis, and 2) Keeping your login ID and password confidential. MyChart Username. Password.
In some cases, the clinic staff that needs to respond to an electronic inquiry or other communication may not be immediately available so a patient should allow at least three (3) business days for a response. Accordingly, emergency situations requiring immediate attention should not be submitted electronically.
When a Arkansas Cardiology patient calls requesting to speak to their physician, obtain test results or requires assistance with a cardiovascular problem , the call will be transferred to your primary cardiologist’s Nurse Clinician. The Nurse Clinician will review your problem or request, obtain your record, and update your cardiologist. Our team endeavors to provide prompt feedback to our patients. At times during the day, the Nurse Clinicians may be away from their phones either working at the hospital or seeing patients in the office. If your condition requires immediate assistance your call will be transferred to the triage nurse. Otherwise, you may leave a message on the Nurse Clinician’s voice mail. If your call is in regard to a potentially life threatening emergency you should call 911.
If you have never been seen at Arkansas Cardiology or have not been under the direct care of the cardiologist for some time, you may be advised to first call your primary care provider who has had the most recent opportunity to evaluate you and has your current records.
