Most patients prefer to wait to return until after a post-op visit. Return Visit – Please call the Advanced Surgical Associate office at 480.969.4138 to arrange for a routine post- operative check. This will usually be within 10 to 14 days of your surgery/procedure.

Hours. Advanced Surgical Associates is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each physician has a different schedule for treating patients in the office and the operating room.
It is extremely important that all your pre-op testing is completed 2 weeks to a minimum of 1 week prior to surgery. Non-compliance may result in the postponement of surgery. Do NOT eat or drink anything for 8 hours prior to your surgery including gum, water, and candy.
Dressing – Dry gauze dressings should be removed on the day after surgery. Commonly, small paper strips (steristrips or butterflies) will be present and will remain for several days. These will fall off and should not be removed for one week. Dissolving sutures will be beneath the skin.
Take a list (ONLY) of all your medications. After surgery, you will be taken to a recovery unit usually for 1-2 hours. If you are admitted to the hospital, you will be taken to your hospital room from recovery. If you have had outpatient surgery, you will be discharged with orders from your physician.
