What is the HealthTexas patient portal?

The HealthTexas Patient Portal is a secure, web-based system that will allow you to access your important health information. Once you sign up to access our Patient Portal, these services are available securely online anytime you want to log in.

What if I am unable to log into my Patient Portal?

If you are unable to log into your patient portal, please call our 24/7 support line at 877-621-8014. If any of your medical information is incorrect, please notify your doctor or contact Health Information Management at 512-324-1004. View frequently asked questions about the My Seton Health portal.

When will you contact me for patient portal support?

Our staff will contact you sometime between Monday and Friday from 8AM to 5PM. Please note the patient portal is not monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; we will respond as soon as possible but expect a minimum of 2-3 business days . If you have a more urgent matter please call the office so we can assist you on any urgent matter.

You can view information from your visit at Ascension Seton or Dell Children’s Medical Center through our patient portal. There are separate portals for hospital visits and medical office visits.

You are the reason we are here and do what we do. We are dedicated to making sure you feel cared for and important. In addition, we are dedicated to providing you with compassionate, high-quality medical care.

Office hours

New patients are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. You can download, print, and complete the forms prior to your appointment. Please bring the completed forms, a list of all medications you are currently taking, recent copies of x-rays, lab results, photo ID and your insurance card to your appointment.

Medication Refills

Please contact your pharmacy for refill requests. Your pharmacy will fax us the request and your refills will be processed within 72 hours. You may also request refills on the patient portal.

Billing

We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards. (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover.)

Insurance

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise.

After-hours & emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911. However, if you need after-hours advice for a medical concern, please call (512) 901-1111 and our answering service will assist you.

Who sends images to Texas Radiology Associates?

The imaging center sent the images to Texas Radiology Associates. One of our radiologists have read your exam and prepared a report for your physician. This process is done remotely.

What is a TRA text?

If you’ve received a text from us, don’t despair! The text message is from Texas Radiology Associates (TRA) regarding an action needed on your account. For example, a balance might be remaining for the physician services provided during your recent visit.

How to get a copy of my patient statement?

In order to receive a copy of your statement, please log into the Patient Portal, our patient portal, below and click on “Download Statement”. Instructions will be provided on the multiple ways you can receive your statement there.

After your consultation, your physician sent a claim to the insurance company on-file.

Does Texas Radiology Associates send a bill?

Texas Radiology Associates send patients a separate bill from the hospital for our radiology services. Our bill looks like this form.

Do you have to bill a doctor for an x-ray?

For example, if you came to the emergency room and had an x-ray and laboratory tests, you may receive a bill from the emergency room physician for their professional services, but also, a bill from the radiologist for interpreting any x-rays.
