Because of its complex nature, the physical exam is basically broken down into two main components; history, screenings, testing / exam, results and consultation.

Our Primary Care Physician is your “Personal Physician” who will get to know your special needs and who will listen and provide healthcare guidance and treatment for a broad range of medical problems. As your family doctors, we develop relationships with your family and can help you understand your family’s health history and how it impacts you personally. We thrive to go above and beyond through our wellness care to detect and diagnose any medical condition in you and your family.
The first visit is an OFFICE VISIT . We request that you fast the day of this visit in order to appropriately screen for diabetes and heart disease. We also check your kidneys, electrolytes, liver function; look for infection or immune deficiency, any signs of nutritional deficiency or anemia and thyroid and HIV testing as needed. It is at this time that we would order additional tests based on your concerns, observations, new health issues or family developments since your last physical. This visit also gives us an opportunity to order other screening tests such as mammograms, prostate cancer screening, or colonoscopies. Lastly, we make sure you are protected as recommended for vaccine-preventable diseases such as tetanus and hepatitis.

The Apex Web Portal provides users of the Apex LIS with the ability to support the remote entry of lab orders and the ability to retrieve lab results.
Apex LIS applications are delivered with required QC testing for each device to be connected already loaded into the LIS database. The applications provide lab management tools for adding Westgard Rules processing, production of required QC reports (including Levey-Jennings). The Apex LIS automatically identifies QC results as control results and stores in the QC database subsystem for later evaluation and reporting.
The optional Apex Data Management subsystem allows you to easily assess trends at either the patient or group level. This system also allows you to configure the importing of data via CSV file and/or the exporting of LIS data. These fewatures simplify the reporting of data to both clients and regulatory organizations.
The CloudLab has a suite of modules that allow you to quickly configure, load, process, approve and publish test results using Plate/Trays. Apex has substantial experience deploying solutions for multi-well speciemn processing utilizing both manual and robotic processes.
Specimens created locally or received from client are logged into specimen storage by using a barcode scanner to scan the specimen and the storage location barcodes. When the test is ready to be performed, the Lab Request Status screen identifies the location of the specimen.
