A very controversial case still lingers to his discredit, the case of Kate Gallagher Leong who reached out to Anthony over the case of her son Gavin, who suffered a seemingly incurable respiratory and hearing illness as well as other unexplainable symptoms, during a $300 consultation where he was unable to diagnose Gavin as he said he could, he instead told Leong she had passed Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) to her son while pregnant with him, Leong’s report to Inverse says he suggested a kind of charcoal detoxifier, a mild vitamin regimen of B12 and zinc for Gavin , a baseless prescription which yielded nothing good. Gavin died 48 days later from febrile seizure and his mother blames herself for his death as she said during an audio interview “I did this to my son”. More than a handful of times, he has offered and promoted disturbing health advice, many of which have been rebuked by the medical community.
The White study investigators kept the research under wraps and refused to offer treatment to patients despite evidence of a cure. The test subjects and their families were also discouraged to seek treatment elsewhere. This resulted in the death and disability of many of the 400 test subjects and their families.
