What Should I Expect?

When you check in you, will be asked to complete a patient registration form and a health history form. The receptionist will make a copy of your insurance card, collect your copay and check for a referral if one is required by your insurance company.

We understand your time is very valuable and we do our best to keep your wait time as short as possible. Sometimes unforseen factors make this difficult. The doctors may get delayed in the operating room or a patient may require a few minutes longer than expected.

How to log into Lawrence General Hospital?

To log into the Patient Portal, either find Lawrence General Hospital within the MHealth App, or click the link above. Then, simply enter your username and password. The email that you enter must be on record with the hospital if you are registering for a new Patient Portal account after Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Can you give your family access to the Patient Portal?

Yes, you can give family members such as parents or healthcare proxies, access to the Patient Portal. This needs to be done within your healthcare facility and requires consent from you and your family member (s).

Can you copy and paste a patient portal password?

Yes. Patient Portal passwords are encrypted and URLs are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your portal. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the Patient Portal page open.

What is patient portal?

Our Patient Portal allows you secure, real-time access to your Patient Care Summaries, medication list and recent labs. Through Portal Messaging, you can message your surgeon to request prescription refills, make appointments, and ask simple (non-urgent) clinical or billing questions.

How long does it take to respond to a patient portal?

The Patient Portal is to be used for NON-URGENT issues only. Please give your provider 72 business hours to respond.

What to do if you have issues logging into your patient portal?

If you’re having issues logging into your patient portal, please contact your medical provider’s office for support.

What do you do if you are an authorized caregiver?

If you are an authorized caregiver that needs help accessing a family member’s account, you will need to contact that family member’s medical provider for support.

Can you use a portal locator on a patient portal?

Yes. Using the portal locator doesn’t affect your ability to use other URLs to log in to your patient portal.
