Acadian Care is conveniently located in St. Tammany Parish near the intersection of Robert Blvd. and Christen Lane. The behavioral health center opened its doors in 2003 with the goal of providing the highest quality service to the community. In 2020, Acadian Care joined the Access Health Louisiana Network to expand services for its patients. Psychiatrist Richard Kutner and his team help patients with private, individual therapy sessions. At Acadian Care, we serve both children and adults. We also provide comprehensive psychological testing. Acadian Care is also one of the only facilities in the region that specializes in using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to treat depression and anxiety. TMS is focused magnetic energy directed to the left side of the brain’s front cortex.

Does Acadian Care offer telemedicine?

Acadian Care offers almost all of its services via telemedicine. Patients can use it to speak to their psychiatrist to about a prescription or refill, therapeutic options or assist in scheduling child or senior care appointments. Certain services must be provided in one of the Acadian Care offices.
