Medical Emergencies

In the event of a life threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of A Bright Future Pediatrics, and they will contact us.

Office Hours

As always, one of our board-certified pediatricians will be available 24/7 for after-hours calls!

Referrals

If one of our pediatricians suggests a specialist evaluation or diagnostic testing that requires a referral, we will make every effort to provide this for you as soon as possible. Some referrals require insurance preauthorization and cannot be processed immediately. Insurance guidelines prohibit us from backdating referrals.

Prescription Requests

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of A Bright Future Pediatrics are routinely issued during our regular office hours ( Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ).

Having a Patient Portal makes your medical information more accessible to you. Please note our portal only contains health information from January 22, 2018 and forward.

Who can I contact if I'm having difficulty setting up my patient portal?

Should you have any difficulty setting up your Patient Portal, please contact the FollowMyHealth support team at (888) 670-9775 or by emailing support@followmyhealth.com. Hours of service are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 8 PM EST, excluding US national holidays.

Does this also give me access to records with affiliated clinics?

No it does not. We utilize a variety of electronic medical record (EMR) systems in our hospital and affiliated clinics. Each EMR system utilizes a different patient portal at this time. For more information or to log into one of our affiliated clinics' patient portals, click here.
